Type: Full-time Salary: 5000-6000 EUR gross (higher range can be discussed depending on your experience). ✈️ Assaia (assaia.com) is working on ML-based systems for international airports and airlines. We were founded in February 2018 in Switzerland. We develop a computer vision system that monitors and analyses aircraft servicing processes from video streams. The data that the system generates is used in real-time for monitoring, alerting, delay predictions, and also historically – for performance, safety analysis and decision making. Our clients include Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport, Aeroporti di Roma, Toronto Pearson Airport, Halifax, CVG, British Airways, and Alaska Airlines. Other projects are under NDA. 🎆 We are a fully remote team of 80 and growing. Our stack: Python 3 (asyncio, flask, fastAPI, pydantic, sqlalchemy 1.4), NSQ, Postgres, MongoDB, AWS, GCP, Gitlab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus (and some Rust and Dart/Flutter thrown in). Responsibilities: ✍️ Develop core real-time video processing and neural network inference engine. 🛠️ Implement and troubleshoot API integrations with various customer systems. ♾ Troubleshoot system issues with DevOps and SRE teams. 🤝 Guide team members through code reviews and architectural discussions. 💎 Shape the platform’s technical direction. Requirements: ⏳ 4+ years of experience with Python development. 🐍 Strong knowledge of Python 3 and concurrency tools such as multiprocessing and asyncio. 🐳 Proficiency with Linux, containers, and Docker. 🌐 Experience with web frameworks and ORMs. 🇬🇧 Very good verbal and written English skills (at least B2+). ➕ Experience with Rust, Golang, JavaScript, Java, C++, or other languages is a plus.
